Project Control Engineer

Position: Project Control Engineer (permanent, full-time)

The candidate must have acquired training and a minimum of 3 years of experience oriented towards controlling projects in terms of costs and timescales. The candidate will work as a member of the TEP Engineering Management function interfacing with the Engineering function and with Project Engineering, included in the group of one or more specific projects. The candidate will  verify and control the costs and timescales of the projects and synthesize the results in effective reporting for the Management function both in relation to the budget and the periodic forecast established with the Management function.

The verification of costs and timescales will be carried out through the Document Control function, with the Project Engineers responsible for the various service projects, and  the established number of hours. Costs shall be controlled in agreement with the Accounting functions.

 

Responsibilities

• Work Breakdown Structure and Schedule preparation of each project based on the acquisition established by origination of the projects
• Reference software: MS Project
• Working with MS Dynamics ERP
• Verification of budgeted hours, expenses, and forecasts for the following period with reports aimed at both Project Engineers and Engineering for:
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly project and business reporting
  • What-if and risk analysis
  • Preparation of the check list and documents for the data-centre for the delivery of documentation to the Customer

 

Requirements

• Masters Degree any of the following:
  • Engineering
  • Mathematics
  • Economy and Commerce
• Aptitude in problem solving
• Multidisciplinary approach and ability to work in a team
• Positive approach in relations with Public Administration
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language
• Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad

 

It is preferable that the candidate has:

• An ability to use MS-Project and MS-Dynamics software
• Knowledge of problems associated with renewable energy power plants

Descrizione

Il candidato dovrà avere acquisito una formazione e un’esperienza minima di 3 anni orientata al controllo dei progetti in termini di costi e di tempi.

Lavorerà in staff alla Direzione di TEP Engineering interfacciandosi con la funzione Engineering e con il Project engineering e potrà essere inserito nel gruppo di uno o più specifici progetti.

Dovrà verificare e controllare costi e tempi dei progetti e sintetizzare i risultati in reporting efficaci per la Direzione Aziendale sia in rapporto al budget che in rapporto al forecast periodico stabilito con la Direzione.

La verifica dei costi e dei tempi avverrà tramite la Funzione Document Control e con i Project Engineers responsabili dei diversi progetti di servizi e quindi del monte ore stabilito.

I costi sono controllati di concerto con le funzioni di contabilità ed accounting.

 

Responsabilità

• Preparazione WBS and Schedule di ciascun progetto sulla base dell’acquisizione stabilita dall’Origination dei progetti. Software di riferimento: MS Project. Interfacciamento con l’ERP MS Dynamics.
• Verifica delle ore a budget, spese e forecast per il perido successivo con rapporti mirati sia ai Project Engineers che all’Engineering per:
  • Predisposizione del reporting di progetto e aziendale settimanale e mensile;

• Analisi What if e del rischio

• Predisposizione della check list e dei documenti per la data room per la consegna della documentazione al Cliente

 

Requisiti

• Laurea Magistrale in
  • Ingegneria;
  • Matematica
  • Economia e Commercio
• attitudine alla risoluzione dei problemi
• approccio multidisciplinare e capacità di operare in team
• approccio positivo nei rapporti con la P.A.
• buona conoscenza parlata e scritta della lingua inglese
• disponibilità a viaggiare in Italia ed all’estero

È preferibile che il candidato abbia:

• Capacità di utilizzo di software MS-Project e MS-Dynamics
• conoscenza delle problematiche degli impianti di produzione dell’energia elettrica a fonte rinnovabile;
